Since 1987 selenium fertilizer has been applied in New Zealand and other countries such as Australia, Canada, the USA, and South Africa.

Currently 70% of the farmers in New Zealand use slow release fertilizer on an area of 1.2 million ha essentially enriching meadows and pastures. Without supplementing selenium an efficient production of milk, meat, and wool would not be possible. In Germany the airborne depositions have considerably decreased. Alongside sulfur, selenium is also filtered and no longer infiltrates the ground. Fertilizers have become more and more pure, the removal due to larger crops increases and selenium compounds are washed out: the deficits in the ground / growth increase, and by systematically fertilizing with selenium the basic feed should contain species-appropriate contents of this essential micronutrient.

Please refer to the references and experimental results listed below which impressively show that after fertilization with DINO SELENIUM in the basic feed (pasture, corn), ideal amounts of selenium contents were detected in the blood and milk of the animals, and as a logical consequence subsequently in the calves and lambs.
